EPA Regulatory Reform
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently submitted a Federal Register notice to solicit public comments on agency regulations. This followed EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s launch of his “Back to Basics” agenda to refocus the agency’s core mission, which also includes returning power to the states and creating an environment where jobs can grow. Pruitt emphasized the importance of engaging with state, local and tribal partners to create sensible regulations that enhance economic growth. The EPA announcement is consistent with Farm Bureau objectives for regulatory reform.
